In these Terms, the terms listed in the following items have the meanings set out in each item.

SiteThe website operated by the Company and provided on its domain, together with the information and functions provided in connection with it.
ContentThe text, images, illustrations, photographs, video, audio, designs, logos, programs, and other information published on the Site.
UserAny person who views or uses the Site.

Intellectual Property Rights

This section sets out the ownership of rights in the Content of the Site and how those rights are treated.

Article 3 (Copyright and Other Intellectual Property Rights)

Copyright and other intellectual property rights in the Content published on the Site, including text, images, illustrations, and logos, belong to the Company or to third parties holding the relevant rights. Use of the Site does not transfer or license to Users any of these intellectual property rights or any other rights.

Article 4 (Use of Content)

Users may not reproduce, reprint, modify, distribute, transmit to the public, adapt, or otherwise use the Content of the Site beyond the scope of private use or other uses permitted under the Copyright Act, without the prior written consent of the Company or the rights holder. When quoting, please comply with the Copyright Act and other applicable laws and clearly indicate the source.

  • Acts that infringe the intellectual property rights, portrait rights, privacy, reputation, credit, or other rights or interests of the Company or third parties
  • Acts that place an excessive load on the Site or on the Company’s servers or networks and impede their normal operation
  • Unauthorized access, alteration of data, transmission of harmful programs such as computer viruses, and similar acts
  • Using information obtained through the Site in breach of these Terms, or allowing third parties to use it in such a manner
  • Any other act that the Company reasonably judges to be inappropriate

This section sets out the scope of the Company’s responsibility for the information on the Site and for its operation.

Article 6 (Accuracy of Information)

The Company endeavors to ensure that the information published on the Site is accurate and current, but does not warrant its completeness, usefulness, or fitness for any particular purpose. Information on the Site may be changed or removed without notice.

Article 7 (System Failures)

The Company may suspend, halt, or terminate the provision of the Site without prior notice to Users due to maintenance, failures of communication lines or equipment, force majeure, or other causes. The Company is not liable for any damage incurred by Users as a result.

Article 8 (Liability for Damages)

The Company is not liable for any damage arising from a User’s use of, or inability to use, the Site, except where caused by the Company’s willful misconduct or gross negligence. Services provided by operators outside Japan may be used for hosting and similar functions of the Site, and matters relating to this are also governed by this Article.

Links to the Site are in principle permitted. However, the Company may decline links made in a manner likely to damage its credit or reputation, or in a manner contrary to laws and regulations or public order and morals.

Article 11 (Recommended Environment)

The Company recommends viewing the Site with the latest versions of major web browsers. Depending on your environment or settings, part or all of the Site may not display or function correctly. The Site may use external services such as fonts for display and functionality.

This section sets out changes to these Terms, the governing law, and the agreed jurisdiction.

Article 12 (Changes to These Terms)

Where the Company judges it necessary, it may change these Terms without prior notice to Users, in accordance with laws and regulations. The revised Terms take effect from the time they are published on the Site, and where a User uses the Site after publication, the User is deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms.

Article 13 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

The interpretation and application of these Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising between the Company and a User in relation to the Site or these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court in the first instance.
